A Bit About Me
Philip Kim founded Storyboard Media out of a lifelong interest in cinema, partnering with Elisabeth Costa de Beauregard Segel to build a company focused on character-driven films with both critical and commercial ambition.
He is also managing partner of Eagle Wealth Fund, a value-add real estate vehicle. His acquisitions across the United States and Canada include the Sun Tower, the Pioneer Building and the Metropole Hotel, with average returns of 33% per annum across prior investments.
He is currently developing studio facilities in Vancouver, North America's third-largest production centre after Los Angeles and New York, in response to sustained demand for streaming content.
Philip holds a BA in Philosophy with a minor in Film from the University of British Columbia, and previously studied Economics, Accounting and Political Science at Simon Fraser University. He and his wife, Grace Park, support Harvest India, which works on education, clean water access, HIV medical care, and housing and employment programmes for women leaving prostitution.
